About GLPbase

Evidence-based health information covering GLP-1 medications, peptides, exosomes, hormones, and aesthetic medicine.

The GLP-1 and peptide space has a problem. There is a ton of public interest, a growing body of real science, and an ocean of hype sitting between the two. Search for semaglutide or BPC-157 and you will find clinic ads dressed up as articles, rare forum threads full of conflicting anecdotes, and press coverage that swings between miracle cure and moral panic. Finding out what the research actually says takes more digging than it should.

GLPbase exists to shorten that search. We cover GLP-1 medications, peptides, exosomes, hormones, and aesthetic medicine — and for each topic, we go back to the primary literature: clinical trials, FDA labels, peer-reviewed studies. We read the papers so you don't have to (though we link to them if you want to).

Who This Is For

Anyone doing their homework. You might be a patient weighing whether to start semaglutide. A caregiver researching options for a family member. A trainer whose clients keep asking about peptides. A curious person who read a headline and wants the full picture. If you want information that puts evidence first, this is the site.

What We Are Not

We are not a pharmacy, a clinic, or a telehealth provider. We do not sell medications, supplements, or medical services. We do not give medical advice. Your doctor knows your health history. We don't. We may earn revenue through advertising and affiliate partnerships, but these never influence what we write or recommend. Our editorial content is independent of our business relationships — that line doesn't bend.

How We Build Content

Every article starts with the primary evidence: published clinical trials, systematic reviews, FDA prescribing information, and clinical guidelines. We report what the data shows, including effect sizes, trial limitations, and where the evidence is thin. When something is mostly supported by animal studies or early-phase trials, we say that clearly rather than letting it pass as settled science.

Our full process is described on our Editorial Policy page.

Medical Review

We are actively building a Medical Advisory Board of physician reviewers with relevant board certifications. Until that board is in place, our content goes through an internal editorial review with the same sourcing standards. We will update this page as reviewers come on board — with their names, credentials, and the content areas they cover.

GLPbase was created by Eugenia Kovalevsky, a business development leader who spent over a decade working across tech and biotech before building this platform to make evidence-based health information more accessible.
